I would not be surprised to see some analysts tomorrow legalize a P/E of 200 and a short term price target of 85 !! What a joke !! And then everybody will cry if the stock dives to 1.5 times book value when the next Semi down cycle is on the horizon now where it is not yet clear if and when the last down cycle has really finished. This is just ridiculous !

Felix - The fiscal 1999 earnings estimate even with the revised estimate is about $1.00.

You really need to do some more research of past analyst estimates. Earnings estimates in this sector are essentially worthless especially near the top and bottom. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest to see an EPS run-rate of $3 or $4 by the last quarter of this calendar year.

Having said that, it wouldn't surprise me if the sector took a breather for a quarter or two.
