Larry,
One thing you forgot to mention was that there later turned out to be a secret deal between members of Naxos mgmt and their families and J/L. When Naxos mgmt was doing a big deal with J/L they were also in a very real sense, putting big money into their own pockets. that was how the deal was structured, to the best of my knowledge. it was all very shady.

I wonder if when lett says he shares the same values, it includes those same kind of sweetheart deals?

Also, I heard, (dont know if it is true) that they wanted options with no holding period to get the deal done. If true(big if) why would they want that? and is that the deal here?

Not exactly the same thing. Naxos was never given the process and allowed to run it independently. MGAU was. Maybe the difference was that J/L felt more confident about being able to finalize a deal with MGAU.
