Welcome back, OJ I just realized that my down phase started about the time that you went on vacation -- may be I'll adopt you as my mascot. Glad that you had a good vacation -- wish I had gone flat when you left or gone on vacation with you -- I could have paid for your vacation and mine and still have been ahead:) The only thing that has worked great for me in this choppy market have been the short OEX straddles -- if the OEX settles at 620 by Friday, I'll be in great shape. But no matter what it does, I'll make money on the set-up that I have. Premiums are still ridiculous and if by Friday the VIX is over 30, I may look to do another short straddle with the March series. Re the P&F thing -- I suspect that you are right -- but I am long based on my system; now that could change in a heart-beat and more recently it has:) I almost bought DELL this am for a day trade -- actually put the order in at 78 before the market opened -- based on where it was trading on the instinet-- and then cancelled it!
