Inger did go short about that same area, but he is still short and thinks there is a shot at seeing new lows for the day. His thinking is that there are a lot of stocks that have rallied but their patterns are not looking so hot. If we get enough of a rally I may put the short on again.
Inger had an interesting thought about the period just before 2PM which is usually a strong time for the spoos, he calls it the 2 O'Clock balloon, that if they couldn't rally then it meant the market was pretty weak. Today it didn't rally at all leading up to 2PM. I'm not sure why he claims this is usually a strong period.
