Nah, Paul. "CMGI-TV" bullish for BCST, AXC, ITVU, RNWK, etc.

Legitimates the market and draws strategic partners out of the woodwork (for everyone).

Incidentally, the capital for this adventure apparently came from CMGI's recent sales of LCOS stock, although CMGIs remaining holdings will give it something like 6 percent of the new USAI/TMCS/LCOS venture.

Question: Could CMGI's new broadcasting operation be intended to tie into the evolving LCOS business? And guess what? VO (that's Seagram/Universal Pictures, folks) is USAI's (Barry "The Godfather" Diller's) largest shareholder, with something over 40 percent. Getting any ideas?

One thing to watch for is that CMGI's Wetherell is into "viral marketing." (SI is as good as viral marketing gets.) What viral component might find its way into Internet broadcasting?

To think about while waiting for your stream to come in...
