the self destructiveness of this "lifestyle choice" (LOL) is pointed out by your posts. Alcoholism is a self-destructive lifestyle choice, as are many others. We all have the right to destroy ourselves if we choose. And there are many thousands of gay men and women who live entirely non-destructive lives. In any red-light district you will find anonymous men who can only find gratification through commercial sex. This is a self-destructive manifestation of heterosexuality; what are we supposed to do, ban it? Are you really so worried about the courts taking away your right to call someone a faggot or a fudgepacker? Does the Constitution guarantee the right to be an asshole? You and I can feel sorry for them all we want, but neither you nor I nor the combined shrinks of the world can make them anything but what they are. Just let them be, they're not hurting you.
