GratisTel International to Sell Shares in IPO

GratisTel International, the Swedish mobile telephone company that gives customers free calls if they listen to advertising, will sell shares this year after it launches services in the U.K., France and Denmark, the Financial Times reported.

The Stockholm-based company is expected to be valued at around $100 million when it comes to market, the newspaper said. Executives yesterday said the company would decided next month on whether to list in New York or Stockholm, the newspaper reported.

United Pan-Europe Communications NV, the No. 1 Dutch cable- services company, rose 26% in its first day of trading Feb. 12 as investors applauded its plan to offer integrated phone, television and Internet services.
