GAP= TO MAKE A OPENING. like when it jumps up and you become a GAPER or one who Gapes due to the reaction to the stock that brings on the GAPE, one who stares with open mouth yet you do want to look out for the word GAPPED as that comes on after one has seen a GAP! A gap can occur 2 different ways. A gap up occurs when the stock price opens HIGHER than the previous day's high. A gap down occurs when the price opens LOWER than the previous day's low. A gap up is pretty much a forgone conclusion for ALFN tomorrow for two reasons. First, the momentum generated in the last 15 minutes shows that there's alot of active interest in this stock and that those who may have been shorting it started chickening out. It also shows that many people anticipate a gap up tomorrow and wanted to get in before the close. The other indication of a gap up open is the fact that we closed today so close to our day high. Today's high was 1.125 and we closed at 1.12. That means that we just have to open $0.01 higher in the morning and we've got a gap up open. With the momentum, I KNOW it'll happen easily. I can't even guess where we'll open tomorrow. Once word leaks around on the last two days' action, everyone and their dog's will be lining up to get a piece of the action. With roughly 2.5M shares, there's not alot to go around either. -smacs-
