Thanks for info. I got out of the business prior to Web trading. Learning more about Web protocol every day.

If an E-broker doesn't allow order to be entered as a spread then they are virtually telling you that you can't do spreads at their firm. Hard to believe most firms are doing this.

Schwab floor broker... have been pleasantly surprised with the executions on both orders placed. As you probably know spread orders are "not held" orders and execution will depend on floor broker working the order. No order flow payment involved and MASH not making anything on spread so I guess it is in their best interest to give it their best effort.
