They are not leaving me be with their PC Activism.

What PC activism are you talking about? All they want is to be what they are without being insulted or beaten up. Is that so difficult for you to accept?

Remember that PC activism did not spring out of a void, it is a reaction to a long tradition of inhuman and brutal abuse. Some overreact; yes. That does not mean that the others do not have legitimate complaints.

Isn't there some old saying about walking a mile in another person's shoes before criticizing? Try it sometime.

How would you feel if people started publishing documents and websites proclaiming that you are a curse and a scourge, that God hates you, that it should be illegal to be what you are. Would you perhaps get "hypersensitive"?

You are ignoring the most telling part of Steven's argument, the above. You refer to a cultural war. Well, as Steven's point above should make clear, a large number of people who find sex with persons of their own sex the best or only way to enjoy it do feel as though they are in a war not of their making, one that started long before they were born.

Some of these people are angry and have become militant. I, personally, think that they are right to be angry. I feel more comfortable, and more "Christian," in disarming by accepting. Quoting from a very bad bit of fiction about a homosexual love affair an observation by one fundamentalist lady musing about the affair: "There's little enough love in the world. The Lord won't mind."

"A cultural war"?

There's something fishy about this statement....
