From AOL group. <Picture>TRO: OE=$2 5/8, PP1=$3 1/8 to $3 5/8. On 2/17/99, the Group took a small position in Tele Centro Oeste (the smallest of all Telebras). Mainly for the technical reason since it has very little downside risk at $2 1/2. We also like it because we feel they will implement Platforms ARC at Area 8 (Amazon region), which if materialized, could attract worldwide attention, which is exactly what TRO needs - on the cutting-edge of tech. This is a high speculative play, we bought only 10k shr and no more. We are in for $1/2 to $1 upside, and we're out.
