Leland, very thoughtful post..Market will realize this in third quarter of 1999, that CSCO enterprise market is slowing and CSCO unable to penetrate the stronghold of LU/ASND combo in major carriers world wide. When the money starts flowing out of CSCO to LU, all the analysts will beat the shit out of CSCO..for missing it on Telcos. Mr. CHambers is smart enough to sell his shares this month. Nail in the coffin of CSCO will be continuation of the trend of big corporations outsourcing their networking needs to carriers like ATT, Worldcom, GTE etc, we have seen it already. Corporation are in the business of running their businesses not networking dept. This trend will hurt future networking spending by corporations. CSCO will be forgotten very fast as a company that made alot of noise in 90s and will become another WANG labs.(Mr.Chambers old company). BR
