Wouldn't it be nice if the LINUX threat grows to such proportions that Gates focuses all his corporate attention and effort to stomp on that enemy and lets Checkfree go its merry winning ways unimpeded. Hey, that has been the CKFR posture up to now since TrashPoint is a beta-baby without fangs or commercial usability. Unfortunately, I doubt LINUX is as big a threat as it has been portrayed, but if anyone disagrees, chime in. One thing for sure, everyone I have talked with agrees that LINUX is a better, more reliable product than Windows. This, too, should come as no surprise since MSFT has never been either on time or on target with an effective product.
