LWS: Unfortunately I am not surprised by the muted reaction to this bit of good news(but notice the volume IS up and, like HC, I'll take 3/8ths thank you very much). Why? Pure and simple. I've got a feeling, discounting us longs who've been attending the VLNC "party" for some time, that a lot of folks have been sitting on the sidelines waiting for corporate pronouncement of a material event. These folks, like us longs, are more than familiar with VLNC's history. So to my mind a P.R. release about a new patent, however fantastic, ain't the material event the street is looking for. All this P.R. does is confirm to that sidelines community that VLNC is doing R&D, which is kind'a sort'a like "tell me sumthing I DON'T know." Heh! Ya want them to get excited? Generate a news release stating 3Com is using VLNC's battery in their Palm V, or that MOT has said yes, we want yer battery and as many of them as ya got. THAT's a material event, and one which will have all of us doing the happy feet dance I'm sure. ;-) But the over-all trend cannot be denied, so let's see how it unfolds.. John~
