Remember Greg, I'm much more bullish on Dell than you. I think that we will see a couple of years of low to mid 40% sales growth before we start to settle into the 30% per annum range. But growth could be faster with the introduction of new product lines.

The major issue I tried to raise is disconnect between my admittedly optimistic view of Dell's future and the mindless hype that proliferates a few weeks before earnings. With Dell currently trading at around $83, and as I recall around $65 last August, we've seen about a 27.7% price appreciation. That's nothing to sneeze at for 6 months. Annualized, that comes to 63% per annum. Unfortunately, that's not enough for many people. So many here invested when Dell was selling at over $100 just a few days ago. That's the real tragedy, and what the market should be telling these people is not that Dell came in with disappointing numbers (it didn't) but having unattainable expectations will sooner or later break you.

Anyhow, I still think that Cramer is a hypster.
