I know alot of "average guys" (and gals) and they seem to prefer INTEL chips inside their PCs. INTEL is a master marketer and they stand for quality. DELL is an ideal INTEL partner and will offer the premium machines to the masses at the best possible prices. Don't underestimate the power of branding. Why are over 1/3 of all internet stock and mutual fund transactions going through Schwab's network?..People pay more for perceived value. With a PC purchase I believe that this also holds true. IMHO, when DELL cranks up its consumer marketing machine large numbers of customers will gravitate to its superior products and services. Watch out CPQ, IBM, and GTW.....DELL could be ready to revolutionize the consumer PC arena. And they have the business model and talent to do it profitably.

Regards,

Scott
