Chip,

Look at my reply to Frank, it's lengthy, but that's part of the reason. The other reason is that on Frank's posted charts here on this thread, the SP's have been winding around the median line, and I take that as a positive sign. Together, any sign of strength after yesterday's sell off has to be bought.

Oh, by the way. I spoke with an old friend who is a Lehman VP.

Which begs the question. Is everyone in the biz a VP?

To his credit he said yes, it's a BS title.

Anyway, he said the same thing. No, there is no readily available A/D for SPX; BUT, you can easily reproduce it using your own software. I had another person in mind to check with but this guy that I asked really would know.
