Folks - I was asked about former CFO Bob Riopel filing to sell 80K shares and have a different take.... according to SEC data Bob probably had that many shares vested in his options when he left. The exercise price could be figured from past filings, but my guess is that it's in the $4 - $5 range. If he leaves the company he has a limited window in which to exercise the options. To exercise he needs to come up with 80K * $4 cash to buy the shares which he probably does not have laying around. He would have to sell the stock at the time he exercises, so the transaction makes sense. The filing is a matter of planning for the sale. It does not seem to be a matter of concern, just an unfortunate reality. Am I wrong?
