Look, splits did NOT make those stocks grow. They grew because
the underlying company grew. The fact that the mgmt chose
to split the stock is completely independent, and is an
EFFECT of the growth, not causitive at all.

As a counterexample, lookup the price of BRKA, Warren Buffet
does not believe in splits, for the reasons discussed here
by Ahhaha and myself. In case you don't click it, it
shows $71,700 per share, +$495 (0.70%) today...

Splits don't cause growth, growth causes growth.

PS, I've owned dell for a while, several splits.
I like the fact that the underlying company
increases profits regularly. Whether I own
1 share at $100,000 or 10,000 shares at $10 makes
no difference to me...
