Also, I'm a little sick of everytime they do a story about "chat rooms" and on-line investing they focus on the negative...the positives far outweigh the negatives here...my goodness, researching stocks alone has become 100 times easier in the last 5 years..Without my "on-line" colleagues, I could not do what I do....

Today, CNBC does a story on on-line investing, and all they focus on was one 15 year kid that has some sort of following (and Web page). Yeah, real representive of the big picture here........

How 'bout focusing on that loser CEO of Merrill Lynch who called "on-line" trading dangerous, and conceitedly stated how much we (the little guy) needs firms like their for advice...Yeah, right...Bearish since October...Thanks for your response...I should come here more often....They screwed up so many facts on Dell during the 2-day deluge last week it was unreal...AAAAAh, I feel better <g>

Nice posts on this issue.

I'll add that Cramer (TheStreet.com) had the character to admit in writing that he had been spooked in October. Of course, he's buy-side...
