It's possible - there were recently some questions regarding a re-structuring of their debt but Merrill at least thought it would come off without a hitch. They just got a pile of cash selling the Woolworth building (though they spent about the same amount buying Eastbay a while ago). Overall it seems unlikely since they generate so much cash flow, but from the stock action it appears that someone at least thinks they know something. I have just a little and am looking to add if the picture clears up any. I'll let you know if I figure anything out. I think the shareholder was Greenway partners - I'll doublecheck - and you're right, the chart is telling everyone to get the hell out the way.
