Richard--The only upfront that has been revealed is 1 million with more to come on filing of IND. I thought the post I cited might answer some of the questions you had raised.

Hi Rick,

You mention up front amounts. I believe "substancial" is a factor in determining if a deal is any good. Would you agree. The question is how do you determine if the cash up front amount is a significant amount? Is it a factor of the number of shares outstanding? How do you consider up front cash amounts? What do you look for?

My inquiry is based on NTII. NTII & MERZ( private ) are said to be negotiating a global deal with a major Pharma for a Marketing & Distribution of Memantine for four seperate indications. What would you consider a substancial cash up front amount for the entire package. Would you say $15 or $25 million cash up front would satisfy your perameters? Or would you expect to see More? Less?

I hold NTII so I am attempting to understand in advance the implications of the resultant deal if and when it is finalized. A recent letter from the CEO posted ( by a NTII thread poster ) at the NTI message thread suggests it may occur in the next few months.

I would appreciate it if you could gleen some insight into what would be a significant amount on a shareholder basis. I am looking to see the stock to return to value on such a deal. I believe sufficient cash would achieve these ends.

PS: Mike do you know how much CNSI received up front?

THANKS RICK
