MSFT splits 2:1 on Mar 26. That's about 25 more trading days. The trial should go into recess the first week of MAR, the media will focus on the start of the INTC trial. Hopefully people will start getting fed up with big brother suing every successful business and there will be a backlash against the gov't, just as there was against the Republicans fighting to the bitter end to remove Clinton.
At any rate the gov't will now be fighting a two front war as it takes on MSFT and INTC. If I'm right they'll soon be fighting on three fronts as the public tells their reps. to make these suits go away. Remember the public didn't bring these suits, their competition did.
Hopefully the worst is over for MSFT, as the break will allow them to get their "ducks in a row" and come back and win this trial like everybody thought they would until a couple of weeks ago.
So the bottom line is that MSFT has been hammered, I think the worst is over, and buying MSFT going into the split will make you some $$.
Regards,Lee

>>I bot some MSFT shares at abt 146 on 2/18/99. Any suggestions on what price & when I shd sell as I heard rumor that MSFT may split again soon? Thanx & regards.<<

Congratulations on your recent purchase of Microsoft. It is better then buying a lottery ticket.
This is one of the best managed world renowned companies to invest. Their business model is excellent, they are aggressive and beat the competition to a pulp as the competition would like to do to them. Since they can't beat Microsoft they whine and scream antitrust which is just plain bulls*&t. There are many who are jealous since Bill Gates is an over achiever. Netscape claimed that they were going to bury Microsoft. Mr Gates was criticized for not taking the internet growth seriously. Well that has all changed and now I think Netscape got their prediction a little backwards. In the end Microsoft will prevail and the shareholders who stay long will be well rewarded and all the have nots will come on this thread and spew their worthless, corny dribble like TOY SOLDIER does. I know who Bill Gates is?? His picture is on the cover of so many magazines I read. Do you know who TOY SOLDIER is? Maybe he is one of those competitors in disguise. Let me conclude when you should sell your Microsoft??
Never and a day. You sell only when you need some money. That is it Plain and Simple

Have a great Weekend
