<<The Republican Party embraced and aided that effort by condoning every unfair and illegal tactic he used ...>>

I'm not a Starr fan or hater. But since you are spoutting the usual jargon you picked up from the popular rags; would you care to list some of the illegal tactics Starr used? Probably not, you were just passing on the ussual rant.

<<...moralists seem to think it is just a party line.>>

You probably haven't heard, since the word is only used in a sneering tone these days but the definition of morals is "a set of standards of right and wrong." Gosh why do you suppose the justice system would be such nut about that? Party line laddaladdaladdalo

<<..danger to the people from guys like Starr and Hyde (and Joe McCarthy) than what Clinton did.>> Why'd you leave Hitler's name off your list. The big justification for supporting clinton is that he is not one of the person's you fear most in the world. Dependency is such a bore. Stand up for yourself. The guy is a liar, in your face, and you are a nothing as long as you enable him or people like him to continue. You stand for nothing but your fears of the boogie man. Pittiful.

Having the President act and beleive that he is above the law is more dangerous than anything Starr or Mccarthy or anyone else has ever done. JLA
