Richard--OK, I will have to get that bullion--but thanks for the words of welcome, I appreciate it. Now, can you help me get the hang of this market? I don't understand when the metal stops trading -- like today for instance -- does it trade till the NY stock market closes? later? or earlier? I will mainly be trading options, and I want to build up a position beginning today,so I am trying to understand the structure of daily moves as well as the long term trend -- can you help?

Richard, et al, you're being sandbagged by this GST and his "sudden interest in Gold"... Click on the guy's name, ok? Who the hell is a " glen@maile.cba.hawaii.edu ?" A fin wagers: a kid w/a university internet since 10/96 no less, playing dumb and sucking up. What do YOU bet? Now read back on some of his amzn posts...like he's no dummy. He comes thundering in here like a "I'm here folks, and I'm buying"... Reminds me of the Kevin Bacon flick a few years back when he returned to the floor of the AMEX and started buying penny stocks. This dude is no internet dummy... he can find a search engine. He just wants us to do his homework for him. Probably writing a paper on "Optimists: case study:" Goldbugs" for some PSYC 201 class!
