Peter ---

beans got to be easier than spoos

I hesitate to bring this up, but I was called to task about the usage of correct English in my saying "beans is easier than spoos".

In the phrase, beans is actually singular, not plural, necessitating the "is" as opposed to the correct sounding "are".

Now, I know this matter is closed, so I'll waste no further bandwidth on the matter, seeing as I don't wish to usurp any of the BlueCelt's domain as VP in charge of wasting bandwidth , for I"m merely a lowly junior acting VP in the Scalping Division of Beans is Easier than Spoos, Inc.
or as we insiders call it BIETS ..... kinda fits in with the ag theme ......
BIETS is really pronounced as someone from Joisey would come out with when saying the word
beets,
which is a veggie and not really a grain, but it does kinda deal with agriculture .....
and heaven knows we on this thread need all the culture we can get, no matter the source .......
Enough of this .....

After I get several of the thread members nibbling on the baited hook of beans, I might even bring up corn and wheat, from time to time .... he he ehehhehh

to the thread --- it wasn't Peter "who done it" on the grammar ..... gggg
