[sprint]

hi jared,

my understanding is that sprint is going with cisco for adsl

last june it seemed pretty clear from the sprint ion announcements that cisco had the adsl business... then sprint noted that they had not made any decision on an adsl vender... and no mention was made of cisco...

fwiw... this led me to think that maybe cisco was not in the running for the adsl component and that fujitsu/(orckit) had a good shot at the deployment, but recently it was announced by sprint that indeed they are going with cisco... oh well... :

maybe somewhere down the line fujitsu can pick up some business as a second supplier

what indications lead you to think alcatel might get a piece?

til later
