Hi Tom, quoting from your book, " The direction taken by the Advance - Decline line is always compared with an index,...we like to see them both go in the same direction. A divergence typically suggest a change is in the wind. "

decisionpoint.com

This divergence has been going on for some time. CNBC pundits say it's the largest spread in decades.

Is this A/D chart a reasonable scenario in todays marketplace, with weighted index leaders accounting for the " new paradigm ", etc. ?

I keep expecting a substantial change in the wind as the divergence continues but nothing really happens.

Any comment would be appreciated,

Jim
