Dr. DeBakey is to be featured on the CBS-TV evening news on Monday Feb 22 regarding something "revolutionary" which was not described in the brief commercial. Perhaps the CBS site has more details.

Mindshare, with respect to volume on WHRTF, it does seem to be primarily linked to news coverage or news releases. The stock also trades on the TSE as WHT, so the volume is divided between the two exchanges. A lot of the shares are held by insiders or others close to the company. The float is probably 2 million or less when you factor in the number of people who have tucked World Heart into their retirement account.
