Thanks Colin, if you have a moment: I am filing as a trader, using sched C. I plan to just send along the 1099 and an excel sheet showing the buys. See any trouble with that?

If you could spare a moment for a reply...

Question on employee stock options. When exercised is the
gain treated as income or as capitol gains?
I see on the option info booklet I have the company will
take out FICA, Fed and State tax which leads me to believe
it's treated as income. I had originally thought it would
be a capitol gain.
