No doubt they will, since it seems Americans generally have an inability to think for themselves. Surely the Republicans applauded Livingston after they found out he had cheated on his wife. But they applauded him for flatly admitting it, as opposed to applying the Clinton treatment.

Now you are really confused. This is Clintoon's America now, where being sneaky and twisting words is the method one now uses to get away with felonies such as rape, obstruction of justice, and perjury.
