ConectiSys Grants Exclusive License to Data, Email Billing and Payment Collection for Wireless Meter Technology LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 22, 1999--Robert Spigno,President/C.E.O., ConectiSys, Corp. (OTC BB:CNES) announced that WayDigital.com, Inc. has been granted an exclusive license to display data that will allow consumers to monitor their kilowatt usage 24-hours a day, 365-days a year on the Internet. The alliance is the latest step in ConectiSys's move to revolutionize the recently deregulated power industry with its new digital meter reading chips. Meters containing these chips can transmit usage information every 15 minutes to a central data warehousing location. From that point, the information will be constantly processed by WayDigital.com, Inc., allowing consumers to view in depth information about their kilowatt usage. The company believes its digital meter technology will soon level the playing field for small resellers with industry giants such as Edison International (NYSE:EIX) and Consolidated Edison (NYSE:ED). With the ConectiSys automatic meter reader technology along with the data display/billing and payment web portal sites by WayDigital.com, Inc. significant expenses previously vital to power companies will be eliminated, allowing small companies to rid this overhead to better compete. These companies will no longer have to employ meter readers or spend substantial amounts of capital on billing and payment collection for energy users with an Internet connection. Once the new digital meters have been installed, the ConectiSys-WayDigital.com, Inc. alliance will handle everything, from data collection, email billing and online payment processing, and will even provide on-line target marketing of energy consumers for their energy reseller partners. Among the free features that will be made available to the mass of Internet consumers will be the option to constantly monitor energy usage, comprehensive usage charts including daily peak usage charts, electronic billing and payment, and online budgeting and analysis software tools. WayDigital.com, Inc. will link to the vast data warehouse of ConectiSys's, providing proprietary content and filling a unique consumer niche in the on-line community. This information gateway will sub license its collected data on a limited basis to web portals seeking to expand their content. Major portals like Yahoo.com (NASDAQ:YHOO), Excite.com (NASDAQ:XCIT), Lycos.com (NASDAQ:LCOS), InfoSeek.com (NASDAQ:SEEK) and TheGlobe.com (NASDAQ:TGLO), compete for their cyber share of virtual viewership by offering services and content that will attract repeat use and viewing of their service. WayDigital.com, Inc., already in formal negotiations with a major web portal seeking this kind of unique and proprietary content, believes it has a repository of information that will one day make even the largest content providers envious.
