Johannes, thanks for your persuasive, interesting and cordial responses. I don't have enough time to respond to your two notes right now, but I will later.

It's too bad that you are on the "wrong" side! <g>

Regards, Bob

>>Here we had one little woman who was clearly
ideologically opposed to Clarence Thomas, making an accusation and it became a
worldwide spectacle. Today we have not just one woman making accusations re: Clinton,
but hoards of them, this, about such things as groping, sexual assault, threats, intimidation
and pure rape.<<

Clarity in it's essence, Johannes. This is why these Democratic charges against Republicans for being sex police are SO hypocritical. With the vast majority of Americans believing the President is in fact guilty of the crimes charged against him, the notion that Republicans are now hated for exposing him is ludicrous on it's face.

Has anyone noted here the boos Carville got on the Letterman Show last week? Not exactly a rightist audience there- and they sure as hades didn't care to to listen to similar crap from him. He spoke of the American people standing up to save their President from Republicans and how wonderful it was that they succeeded...and was IMMEDIATELY met with a spontaneous and near universal BOOOO for saying it! A VERY interesting response indeed. It was heartwarming. :-) I Dare say again the Democrats would be wise to quit thinking they can play this phony issue for anything at all. I do think Carville(he actually looked momentarily stunned) is learning- if not the leftist posters here.

What you've implied here, i.e. the relative suitability of airing these charges against the President Vs. the of airing the charges against Thomas, simply IS plain to everyday Americans of all stripes. Probably about 84%. :-)
