Tony, I dove into AMAT earlier this year while it was bouncing off the bottom. Very happy to see the cycle turn back up again. AMAT has pretty much ignored all the tech trouble lately...unbelievable relative strength for the entire group since the October lows. AMAT is in a class by themselves in the semi equip area. I believe that Moore did classify them as a "King." Frank or others, do you know why it is that they are not a Gorilla? I wouldn't think it is due to their cyclical business.

Tony/All, Any thoughts on Lucent's battle with Cisco (gorilla). Moore has an interesting point of view on the difficulty in taking on gorillas head on. We all have seen what has hapenned to AMD trying to take on Intel. What is Lucent characterized as? Can it acheive Gorilla status along side of Cisco or will only one survive. More ammunition for future discussion. Alright, my wife is going to kill me...I'm gone.
