Fact Check: The reality is that they are there only because it was a whistleblower case. 99% of the time that is how it happens. Just because the Govt has an option to stay out does not mean that they do stay out, it just does not work out that way in real practice. That minor point between the lay description page you cite to and the reality of how it works in practice does not make me an idiot, it makes me a realist. You never cease to astound. You continue to bluster and spew forth unsupported claims in an effort to make your point. You apparently know not a whit about what you speak. Qui Tam Statistics (as reported by DOJ in October 1998) DOJ has intervened in or otherwise pursued 337 cases and declined 1,229. taf.org That's only 21.5%. So let's see you say 99% and would make us choose as to whether you are a realist or an idiot? Looks to me like you are trying to pad your case and escape the charge of ignorance by compounding it. Admit it you were just plain wrong. Flat out. No technicality.
