I own ONSL and would therefore like to see it do well. But I don't think the new At Cost model is likely to do well if my experience today is an example.

I'm looking to buy an upgrade to Excel 97. Onsale quotes a very low price, but then tacks on a $5.00 transaction charge plus a further processing fee of about $2.27. With 2nd day air the total cost comes to 98.43, or 111.75 with next day air.

By contrast, PCConnection, one of the more expensive Web retailers, charges 104.90 for next day delivery, its only option.

I've done business with PCConnection, and though I don't like its prices, I know its customer service is very good. So who do I go with? PCConnection, unfortunately.
