Dr Sidney Wolfe will be on Good Morning America live on February 23 to discuss drug safety and the PC's book:

worstpills.org

He will also be appearing live on cable WGN channel 9 Chicago Morning News on February 25.

He is on a national tour promoting consumer awareness of the pharmaceutical industry etc..

I am going to check and see if any if these programs will allow call in questions. If they do and you happen to hear a question from Dr. VLAD you will know who it was.

VLAD << The black boxing of Viagra is GOOD news for everyone that counts (except you) in that it will save human life and increase MUSE specificity.>>

V-Man: Again, I challenge you to find one single reference to possible black-boxing of Viagra anywhere in the medical or business literature including the ACC/AHA Expert Consensus which you praised so highly in December. Message 7058048

Compare your view of Viagra with current perception of Viagra as described in last week's NY Times......even "injectable" MUSE was mentioned!

techstocks.com

Your concern for human life is very noble. In addition to your Viagra campaign, what other "killer" drugs are you currently campaigning against? Rezulin? NSAIDs?

I would be much more impressed if you did not hold a financial position that could possibly benefit from your "noble" actions.....financial positions that you failed to disclose in your emails to the FDA.

VLAD << I have to go now but will be back tonight to do a point by point review of this survey to remind everyone--especially the Kahuna as to exactly how this game is played. Here is a brief outline to show you how it works listing where the power is in descending order:>>

V-Man: If you really believe that Big Pharma is so powerful and companies like VVUS are so helpless, why did you invest in a "small company that can't afford to spend money on political campaigns".

It should be noted that MUSE received expedited review by the FDA. Under your game theory, do you believe someone at the FDA got paid off?.

VLAD: <<. I believe Celebrex an over priced anti-inflammatory that is attempting to claim (falsely so) that it doesn't have any GI effects of decreased stomach mucus production as does all other NSAID is the latest scam that the Kahuna is peeing in his pants over>>

V-Man: Not sure what this has to do with VVUS but it does indicate your dislike for anything to do with PFE and your general investing abilities.

Your viewpoint is certainly at odds with the Arthritis Foundation and the business press.

VLAD <<The Public Citizen's Group which is an organization founded to protect the public interests over big pharma's profit interest and is supported by over 150,000 American citizen's nation wide.>>

V-Man: You are probably the only Pharma investor who references Dr. Sidney Wolfe to tout a stock. As previously posted, it is doubtful that MUSE would be on the market if it was up to Dr. Wolfe. Moreover, his December survey was virtually ignored by everyone and widely criticized by the media...... since over 69% of the FDA officers refused to participate. Again, your Public Citizen posts are great indicators of your knowledge about investing in the Pharma industry.

Final point: You constantly blame the shorts and market manipulators for the price of VVUS. Have you ever considered the impact of 1998 earnings , the prospect of future earnings and the effect of MUSE US prescriptions.

Since the launch of Viagra, the correlation between MUSE weekly Rxs and the price of VVUS is a very high positive .72. The correlation between the price of VVUS and MUSE Refill Rxs is even higher (.82).

Without significantly higher MUSE Rx levels, it is virtually impossible for VVUS to move significantly higher.

PS. VVUSers, watch closely the response by VLAD to this post. His "game strategy" is usually attempted intimidation by attacking someone's honesty ....rather to encourage honest opinions.

Touche
You are missing the point. If you black box V they still won't know about MUSE and sales will not go up. We need sales, sales, sales, and the future of Viagra has almost nothing to do with it. See all the adds for "all natural viagra equivalent" "not tested by the FDA" of course. Now that the public knows there is/was an oral medication that worked they will jump on each one that comes out. Vivus needs marketing big time. I'll wait till the time's right since I can't see it going much lower.
