Lee, Fleck has been bearish on Dell for 3 YEARS!!! They had one bad quarter and now he's right??? Come on!! Imade so much money in Dell all these years; years when I would laugh at Fleck and Fred Hickey as they bullshitted everyone. These guys have been wrong for years. There is no reason to think they are right now. dell has tripped-- but it'll be back. Count on it.

Lee, I only occasionally take the time to respond on this thread.

However, the the incredible effort by a lot of folks is to be applauded! The time commitment by many folks is truly amazing.

Nonetheless, I ask it again. Why is it that all this powerful TA cannot recognize a trading range. Again, I simply watch one Index -- OEX. As long as we do not break 600 or go above about 640 on a close, it just is IMHO a trading range. Folks, if you look at history, the market spends a lot of time in a trading range. Until it breaks the trading range, it is a market full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

We can spend a lot of effort on the FA side of the house. Lord knows the FA side of the equation cost me dearly in the past -- i.e., are PC sales or oil company revenue going up or down in the future? Are the REBOC's going to win the battle for the heart and soul of the telecom industry? Is Y2K going to be the end of the investment world
as we know it? Is the internet of any investment importance? I readily admit that I have no clue, and discount the opinion of all that profess to know.

I really appreciate you perspective! However, I will ask the simple question of if we are in a TA trading range does any of this really matter? And with this stated, I will again slip into the SI archives. However, as I leave, I will again state that the flaw of TA occurs in a trading range. Just as you should be buying, the TA signals you to sell, and vice versa. It is the ultimate whipsaw investment god to which I have paid some heavy dues.
