Stop loss response:
Tom, chances are you will get stopped out more often than you will advance, at least at first. This will "preserve capital", and even though some trades "wiggle", you will be safe from those that have the bottom drop out from.

That said, most mm's and specialists move stocks in specific patterns. Follow certain stocks for a while and you can see what I mean, also you may wish to read up on them (ie: The Electronic Daytrader, Soes Bandit, etc.). Stochatistics provide valuable information on this also.

Also, good trading systems like CyberTrader incorporate stop loss alerts and executions.

When you begin to understand proper entry and exit points you will notice a world of difference in your trading.
