I wasn't asking for your respect, just a knowledgable and coherent response as to why all Fiat money should be backed by gold and how that conversion would be accomplished.

Though, it does pain me that you are unable to to provide either of the above for me or others interested in an answer.

You apparently spend a lot of time finding gold in odd places. That's great and I have no problem with that.

But finding gold and advocating its usage as a currency is something else all together. Reverting back to a gold standard involves some very difficult issues and limitations.

I was hoping that you had gleaned some insight as to how that would be accomplished, given your admitted knowledge of gold and its history and your participation as one of its more outspoken advocates here and on the GPM thread.

You have insulted and attacked me and my opinion, and continue to do so on the GPM thread. But at the same time you are unable or unwilling to restate your arguments in favor of a gold standard except in the most general terms.

That frankly wouldn't cut it in a typical organized debate. And neither would the name calling.

Hope you are able to collect your thoughts and provide for your logical arguments as to why gold should replace Fiat. If I wanted to read Prechter, I would read his work.

I want to hear you discuss the issue.

Regards,

Ron
