Hi ed,

I have been passively watching this debate- an interesting one - and thought I add my humble opinion.

Almost nothing is 100% sure. There is always a possibility of anything happening in this world. Contradictions are rare.

What we do is assume that markets are not perfect and that we can take advantage of these imperfections.

Some use TA and some use FA to figure out these imperfections.

But all we are doing is trying to gauge the imperfection....

What is going to happen tomorrow is not only a product of the markets tendency to correct todays imperfections, but also a product of tomorrows random events (or for those who are "determinists" : tomorrows undeterminable events).

By definition random events (or undeterminable events) can not be determined.

If you believe these TAs which can not claim 100% accuracy, then you are a fool , a very big one. What if A tell you that LU will drop down to $30 , but the accuracy is less than 100%, and B tell you LU will shoot up to $150 without telling you how accurate the prediction will be ? If you trust any of these predictions or TAs, then anyone can give you a number, and they all are not 100% accurate, and only one , maybe one can be 100% accurate, of course definitely not yours of Judy's. Because none of you have the guts to give the prediction or TAs and claim that it is 100% accurate. As a result , your prediction or TAs is just meaningless. Just like someone tell you tomorrow will be the end of the world, but the prediction is not 100% accurate. So, you are a fool !!!!!!!!!!!!!

You, clearly have a problem with reading, learn to read, then try again. Or might it be dyslexia or comprehension in your case Mr. Ed ?

Given your post, you have no idea what technical analysis is, yet, without knowing, you express an opinion, with the typical air of the arrogant moron of the Lucent thread.

Your stated assumption not only are those of an imbecile, that lacks the ability to reason, but in addition, you postulate assumptions only an idiot such as yourself are capable of stringing together in a short paragraph.

Your attempt to express as fact, thoughts fabricated in your mind, are at best, infantile. This alone does not create an actual fact. Yet you seem to believe so.

Example your own post.

Guts have nothing to do with expressing an opinion as to the future of the price of a stock. Simply, t/a is a form of measuring the probability of an event, given past history and pattern formations.

Once the decision is taken as to which trade to execute, you then observe, this is done in a disciplined fashion. Even then, there are trading rules, (certainly unknown by you), that can prevent large losses, in the event that the initial decision was wrong.

Such simple statement requires enormous discipline and clear thinking. These are concepts which you could not be even remotely familiar with.

But all of the above is meaningless, when idiots like you, are capable of speaking without the brain being connected, properly wired, or worse, not functioning.

While in your ignorant opinion, the use of T/A, might be a "meaningless" exercise, it is not so for me, as the success in trading Lucent proves to me alone.

I do not impose my beliefs on you, nor I plead that you should follow such beliefs, indeed I do not call you a fool for not believing in T/A.

However, I call you what I did, because of your arrogant ignorance, and the fact that you express an opinion on a subject that you do not know the first thing about.

It is about time that in this illustrious thread it is established that a stock is a stock to be traded, like any other piece of property, and Lucent is no exception, it is nothing else but that, a tradable stock.

In the end, what truly matters in the stock market is to make money. As simple as that. How you do it is irrelevant, and it is up to each individual how this is achieved. Everything else, is romanticism for idiots. A soap opera for numbskulls.

Valentine's day meets April's fool. Congratulations you made the cut, you will live happily ever after.

If you choose to buy it and hold it.... well that is fine by me, I do not care. But such strategy does not invalidate T/A.

Most importantly to establish, is the stupidity with which you illustrate your examples, these are the real meaningless exercises, because:

1. I have never expressed any of your outrageous idiocies, you use as examples, nor anything even close to them.

2. Nor, would I ever follow blindly, your assumptions, nor anyone else's for that matter, without putting them through my own consideration. You see, unlike you, I have the capacity to analyze and arrive at MY conclusion, without a pre-fabricated dogma, such as what you seem to use as your guidelines in thought.

I remember your clearly idiotic rationale, Mr. Ed, (Hee haw, hee haw, hee haw....) perhaps if I spoke your donkey like language I may be able to communicate with you...

Then again, it is best I leave you alone, as your attempts at "thinking" do not seem to be succeeding. Next time you should try a toilet plunger, perhaps in using it, you will succeed in priming your feeble "brain", in which case, you will extract a little more than caca out of your plugged up, yet, empty skull.

Have a nice life.... Mr. ED, hee haw, hee haw, hee haw....
____________
Disarm yourself Mr. Ed…

I'm all in favor of keeping dangerous weapons out of the hands of fools. Let's start with typewriters. [Keyboards].

**OT*** Ed, the only sure thing is that we all will die sooner or later. Nothing else in life is certain including the price of LU or the continuity of the US.

Both are little events in the line of human history. Humility will open many eyes and wisdom may be seen <GGG>

No response needed.

Thank you

Haim
