Following was posted on the Yahoo FGI board. If oil prices recovered so dramatically from $13 to $14 oil, what will they do from current levels which are causing even greater production cutbacks? Oil prices by: stock_n_up (M/Jackson, MS) 4477 of 4478 4475 The last 3 times oil prices were even near this level there were huge rallies the following year - In 1994, oil was $14 per barrel - 18 months later it was $23. In 1988 oil was $14 and climbed to $35 over the next 2 years. In 1986 oil was $13 and jumped to $20 a year later.
