As is custom, Texaco will make the formal announcement when the contracts are completed. If you hold this stock, keep holding. This award will cause the analysts to revise estimates for 1999 and 2000, upward and elevate the long term growth projections back into the 25 to 30% range. Expect an uptick following the announcement and long term reversal in trend. If the anticipated cuts in exports occur next month, the depression in crude oil will be history.
