Actually, that's not quite true. ORCL occasionally had a truck near
there, but I never saw an ORCL billboard on the freeway near IFMX.
I live very close to IFMX HQ.) IFMX usually had a sign along the
freeway near ORCL HQ until IFMX crashed, and they stopped for a while,
but I saw a smaller billboard further north than in the old days
last summer -- however, I haven't seen it since.

Oracle has closed the "Million Dollar Challenge" after 3 months without hearing a word about it from Microsoft. Oracle offered $1 million to anyone who published a TPC-D benchmark using SQL Server 7.0 on a 1-terabyte database that was less than 100 times SLOWER than Oracle's best published benchmark. Looks like they'll need a new publicity stunt to tweak BillG.
