Jimbo: It doesn't work. It won't even get me to the site to begin. "Can't get access" message.

You understand that we pay an internet access fee AND we pay by the minute to the telephone company? I don't know my telephone bill - it is huge. I use MSN for internet access and it charges a basic fee of $29 per month. Many in the UK are offering it free. AOL is reviewing its charges - looks like it will lower them for the basic and charge a premium for certain services.

Cable is very advanced in the UK - as distinct from other European countries - the whole country has been in the process of being connected over the last several years. Some cable companies - including some owned in whole or part by US or Canadian companies are offering internet access and cheaper telephone services as part of a package with their digital and other TV packages.

We use SKY digital which is an aerial system and I pay about $50 month (not including any one-off pay-per-view for "premium" sporting events or recent movies).

Jimbo: Do you follow MSFT. It's off $2 today in a strong market. Good buy?
