That's strange, I've always enjoyed my time(s) in Texas. There's still a touch of frontier spirit, mile upon mile of open spaces, and a certain no-nonsense approach to life. Then again, I am one of those hated white males. What's worse is that I make no apology for it. No, even worse. I enjoy being me. As far as Atlanta being "the median of US voters", that could be true. They seen to have their heads as far up their asses here, when it comes to voting for Clinton, as they do anywhere else in the country. Hopefully, the last couple of years has shown them the error of their ways.

Well Michelle let's give you the other side of the coin fromNuk 44 from one born in NJ and raised in the south and now living in Colorado. The only reason the south along the east coast has improved is due to the influx of northerners and mid-westerners retiring there. It started in Florida of course spread to NC,Ga and SC. I have friends from the northeaest in many southern locales. My nephew just graduated from UGA in Athens and like Atlanta as he will say, you will find 10 miles outside these intellectual havens the most ignorant, racist yokels you will ever see including one county(Cobb or Calhoun) where they wanted to fine you if you didn't own or wear a handgun. My buddy in SC was asked to join the Klan his first month there. And I can tell you in the Fla panhandle and just outside Gainesville (UofF) is about as redneck as can be. If you want to see the real south which is still what nuk 44 wants to deny go to Miss,La,Texas,Alabama,SC. I own property in Miss in Gulfport on the Gulf and would not live there if my life depended on it, a few years go ten minutes away 2 lesbian activists were shot to death. The property is up for sale.My daughter's girlfriend's husband was a naval officer stationed in Miss and a Jew ask him his impression. The crackers that inhabit the area around Myrtle Beach SC are sick of the yankee carpetbaggers. No my friend the south is not Atlanta, MIami, Ft. Lauderdale,Dallas or Houston.
