He's on a self-induced sabbatical.

Last I heard he was living in a hovel with an undiscovered South American tribe, trying to develop a system for day-trading based on a primitive religious method of explaining sunspots.

GZ and all.

Talked to a guy a Moby Data last night for about a half an hour. He was fun to talk to and I gave him some suggestions that he is going to look into in the coming few weeks.

He thinks he ought to be able to manipulate the database they have and get Advancing Issues and Declining Issues and New Highs and Hew Lows for the S&P 500 index. If he can do this he will. I asked him for 10 years of data if he can do it.....

I told him if he can do it, I would probably have some others who might wish to sign up for the data service!

He told me to feel free to offer other data mining ideas to him and he would see what he can do.

Any thoughts...let me know.

The web-site for Moby Data is:

mobydata.com
