I don't know if I was meaning that ...you sparked my mind wioth the BRX comment about still going to Maxam Shareholders...if all the contracts have a reporting annual thing to PHX Company because the are ...say...like in Real Estatte - "The Note Holder" seems to me they are what we call IN FIRST PLACE ANYWAY". Am I making sense...no don't answer that. As to merger...why not let it happen...everyone is freed up...new deals can always be maken...just ask me. Let's make a deal...dam if that how I am up to ...15,000 DAM acres I manage, just think about it...the mystery of it all...how in the world can things just happen...a door closes..on day and latter the fact that another door opens...weird but always true ...the path To Fullfilment or something. BTW it happens to me all the time...I think I am more likeMr McGoo than Brad Mooney.

Richard, the saying "too much is never enough" and a short story.

in the woods i was camping
had a bag of very small hazelnuts
a squirrel, like a cat, wanted to be my friend
with a "got food" smile & dance
end of autumn, camp fire needed to unchill the air
N.Y. state camp grounds, me the last of the Mohegans before close
gave squirrel a nut and he went away and hide it
gave 2 nuts next time and off he went to hide them
put 10 nuts onto the ground
and as the squirrel pushed in # 10 the # 1 popped out
tried again and again eventho time passed equal to a go and return
finally took 9 and left 1
returned to find now 11 on ground

Maybe Maxam has enough nuts to crack, and anymore will just sit idle.

Why buy more nuts, pay money/10centshares for nuts not needed now.

But the nuts ain't rotten inside,
good golden meat inside,
high quality.

Who has the nut cracker.

Doug
