<<<Rocky could you please tell us when we can expect ORB to be shipped? Just an approximate date would be fine. SR>>>>>

don't know if Rocky will respond to your request, but I will. According to:

www.castlewood.com

We have started shipping ORB 2.2 GB EIDE drives to selected OEMs! Initially, the EIDE internal version will be limited to OEM's and Integrators/Distributors to ensure the highest level of end user customer satisfaction. The EIDE product will be available from our partners in February. The Parallel and SCSI ports will begin shipping in February.

So as you can see, Jaz has only a couple more weeks of life left in it. I have posted links pointing to users willing to dump their Jaz drives at a moment's notice the minute ORB is available-- And they will. Orb costs only $199 with $29 2.2 gig discs.

BTW... Do all Rockies work for the same scale ( minimum wage ), if not they're over paid.

Hope this only offends a few people, all the RR's.

BB,

>How do you know KP isn't one of the Rockies as they post under different handles ?

I don't absolutely know it but I infer it -- KP is a much more rational bear than any of the Rockies. KP sometimes makes good points; the Rockies makes them only accident -- generally, if they have any good points to make, they fail to make them anyway due to their wild exaggerations. And of course, I've learned not to believe any statement of fact in the Rockies' posts until I hear it confirmed from three other sources.

First of all, for those of you who think I'm Rocky, this proves to me that you have lost touch with reality and don't really care about making money.

This is typical human behavior. If you can't attack the argument, attack the person. So I'm not surprised...

2 other points:

1. Giving away ZIPS

Early on, Iomega made a lot of money off the drives. Now, they make no money off the drives due to the OEM model. Obviously, this has had an effect on both the top and bottom lines. You say 'It's the disks, stupid' and I say, Yes, it is, and look at the results... (6 dollar stock)

2. About the charts.

Charting works in the short term, but doesn't help you at earnings time. In the long run, earnings & revenues drive a stock's price. Use your charts to buy a stock the day before earnings, then let me know how that works...
