Tom,

I have my portfolio divided into two camps. "Holders" and "Traders". The Holders like Citicorp I will have probably until there are two banks left standing in the world. ;-) No intestinal fortitude required on most of these until last fall when the market too some wind out of their sails.

The Traders are the ones I'm most interested in either using AIM directly or at least some of the principles as I typically hold them 12-18 months. I seem to have no trouble finding good stocks to own, but I do have trouble with entry points (ORB) and exit points (GALTF nearing $30). I thought AIM might help out there and actually reduce the volatility of the overall portfolio as well as allowing me to concentrate my holdings into fewer stocks while letting me sleep at night.

I've only bought 7 new stocks in the past 6 months and those are what I would call "starter" positions of 1-3% of my portfolio each.
